Azhar starring Emraan Hashmi performed decently well on its opening weekend. The film revolves around the life of former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin.

Showing an expected drop, the film collected 3 crores on its fourth day. Post the Monday collections, the film now stands with a total of 23.80 crores at the domestic box office.

Among the three new releases last week, Azhar is the only one that has been performing good.

In spite of the average critic ratings, the film seems to have created a decent buzz amongst the audiences thanks to its music too.

Azhar also stars, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri in lead roles.
