Avengers: Age Of Ultron is the second highest Hollywood grosser of the year in India. The film has been holding up well in spite of big Bollywood films like Gabbar Is Back and now Piku doing great business. The film  collected 70 lacs on its third Friday, 1.25 crores on Saturday and 2 crores on Sunday.  The film now stands with a total collection of 73.77 crores at the India box office.

Franchise films have a huge fan base and this being the sequel to The Avengers, was expected to perform extremely well. The film stars big stars like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and hence has a huge appeal worldwide.

The film was marketed extremely well in India by over 50 brands and thus the pre-release buzz helped the film soar even more. Avengers: Age Of Ultron has released in 3D , 2D and Imax 3D.
