YRF’s Aurangzeb hasn’t performed as miraculously as all the other Yash Raj Films. The banner known to deliver excellent results in overseas markets mostly, had an average film coming from their production house this time. A strong story line along with commendable performances, were destroyed by a poor execution. The movie made a business of about 2.55 Crores in its second weekend at the Domestic box office, taking its total to 22.55 Crores.

Coming to its overseas business, according to early estimates, the film in its first week earned $120.5k in U.S.A-Canada circuit. In U.K, the film earned £ 43.6k so far. The gulf circuit with a vast market in countries like Oman and Qatar, along with UAE saw an average performance, with total collections amounting to $ 413. The film’s earnings in other important circuits which includes important regions like Australia, New Zealand saw total collections of $94k. The film’s total global collections is now estimated to rest at INR 3.8 crores only.
Going by the expectations pining on it, the film’s performance has been majorly low. Now with Fast And Furious 6 hitting the screens, along with concluding part of hangover series hitting the theatres next week, Aurangzeb has no further chance to claim back its lows.
