Aurangzeb: 1st Tuesday Box Office Collections

Atul Sabharwal’s Aurangzeb starring Ishaqzaade star Arjun Kapoor is decadent double role failed to strike up a good note at the box office. The film on its first Tuesday collected an income of 1.70 crores. Putting together its total revenue so far, the film has its total collections amounting to 16.40 crores now.

The film recorded an average 60% drop on its first Monday from the weekend collections which mildly fell further on Tuesday. The film which is a story set in Gurgaon is performing the best in the Delhi and Punjab circuit. However, with other regions finding very little to relate with it along with the hitches in the movie itself, the film performance has been drooping ever since its release. The film did not match up to the hype its trailer had created and neither did it live up to Arjun Kapoor’s staunch image his debut vehicle Ishaqzaade had sketched out for him.
