Aurangzeb: 1st Monday Box Office Collections

Arjun Kapoor starrer Aurangzeb on its first Monday raked up 1.90 crores at the domestic box office. The film, based on the world of real estate crime of Gurgaon, is a power game saga. Going by the story, it obviously performed the best in East Punjab and Delhi. The film’s total collections after its first Monday now zeroes at 14.70 crores.

Commendable acting by most of its stars, the film’s second half kills its thrill and appeal. Moreover the film drags on in the second half due to inadequate editing which is why the repeat audience rate for the film has been less for the film. Aurangzeb‘s performance has been below satisfaction levels as the film failed to match up the buzz it had created for itself!
