After bringing in 3.12 crores on Friday, seeing a rise in collections on Saturday (5.25 crores), and then jumping quite well all over again on Sunday (7.25 crores), Article 370 maintained a good hold on the second Monday as well. The collections came to 2 crores*, and that’s less than a 50% drop when compared to Friday. That’s how things were in the first weekend as well, and now the hold is actually even better in the second weekend.
The fact that the film has stayed around the 2 crores mark means that this would be yet another bountiful week ahead for the Yami Gautam starrer. This is what’s happening in the current times when set films start demonstrating far better stability from the second weekend onwards as audiences begin to warm up for them if the reports are good.
Pre-pandemic, best of the films dropped by 70% in the second weekend, and even mid-sized affairs used to drop by at least 50%. However, the scenario is different today as well-made films keep going on and on, and this is what’s expected from Article 370 as well, which has set itself well.

The film has now crossed the 55 crores mark and currently stands at 56.44 crores*. In fact, it will cross the 60 crore mark this week itself and then add some more before the second weekend comes to a close. It’s the best-collecting film amongst all others in the running and is heading well towards the 75 crores milestone.
