Article 15 Box Office Predictions: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer releases this Friday. The Anubhav Sinha directed film showed a lot of promise when its promo was out. It pretty much promised a hard hitting drama based on true events with the kind of narrative that would entertain as well as set one thinking. With the film already been screened for select critics and industry insiders, it is now also quite clear that the film lives up to the expectations.

Moreover, the film also benefits from the fact that Ayushmann is the leading man. He has a knack for picking and choosing films that are indeed different while promising gold entertainment. Moreover, as an actor he has made a place for himself and that’s something which emerges quite well in Article 15 as well.

Of course, it’s core theme and treatment means one can’t expect horde of audiences on the first day itself. For a niche film like this, the target audience (at least to begin with) is the one which is receptive to such social issues on screen and hence the footfalls would be in accordance to that. All of this means that one can expect a start in the range of 4-5 crores and post that it would be word of mouth that would come into play. There would be immense competition from Kabir Singh as well but once Article 15 finds its footing, it could well find its own audience.
