Article 15 Box Office Day 5 Early Trends: Ayushmann Khurrana might have won hearts with his debut in Vicky Donor, but it has been since the last year that the actor is finally getting due credit for his work at the Box Office. After earning big with movies like AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho, the actor is back on the big screen with an investigative drama, Article 15, and is earning accolades all over again!
There’d been a huge competition from Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh, that this Anubhav Sinha directorial has been facing ever since its release. Despite several obstacles, the movie has still managed to add numbers to its kitty. The proof of which is a total of 24.01 crores in its kitty.

As per the early trends flowing in, Article 15 on Tuesday has added another 3.50-4.50 crores to its collections and now the total numbers at the box office stand at 27.51-28.51 crores. Way to go for Ayushmann and team!

The district administration in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar on Tuesday decided to stop the screening of Ayushman Khurana’s Article 15 in a cinema house in Roorkee town after protests, officials said.
Police officials said the step has been taken following protests by some right-wing organisations which were objecting to certain scenes in the movie.

The film was doing well in Roorkee when it was suddenly stopped.
“Since protests were held only in Roorkee, we decided to stop the screening of the movie in the town only,” a police official said.
