Article 15 Box Office Day 2 Morning Occupancy: Article 15 took a slow start at the Box Office as it opened to around 15% occupancy yesterday morning. The collections, however, picked up heavily from evening onwards and the first day collections as per early estimates have come somewhere between 4.50-5.50 crores net. Considering the previous openings of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer films like Andhadhun, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and the genre of this film, the opening is pretty nice.
Now on Saturday, the film has shown a big jump as the morning occupancy has pretty much doubled up. Yes, the Saturday morning occupancy for Article 15 is in the range of 35-40% and that is a big news for this film. If we go by this trend, the numbers also have a chance of doubling up itself from Friday depending on how the film performs in evening and night shows.
Article 15 starring Ayushmann Khurrana in lead is a political-crime thriller which is based on real incidents related to caste discrimination. Ayushmann plays the role of IPS officer in the film who with his sheer honesty and determination tries to fight all the odds.

Earlier talking about how the film should be declared tax free, Ayushmann said, “I definitely feel that this film should be declared as a tax free film because it is necessary that this film should reach every part of the country. It’s not a comedy or an entertaining film. It is based on a vital subject, so it should reach maximum number of people.”
