Aiyyaa Shows No Growth on 2nd Day at the Box Office

In what is proving to be a box office joke this week, last Friday’s releases have proven to be complete washouts whereas OMG Oh My God! and English Vinglish continue to lead on.

Aiyyaa opened to a dismal 1.50 Crores on Friday and showed no growth at all making an approx 1.60 Crores on Saturday. It seems Anurag Kashyap could not make it large with this flick of his. The movie’s 2 days box office business is a small 3.10 Crores.

Producers and distributors are both going to lose on a considerable amount of money with this venture.

It doesn’t seem that the movie will make anything more than 5-5.5 Crores in its 1st weekend at the domestic box office. The Rani Mukerji starrer will be lucky to get away with 15 Crores of lifetime box office collections.
