Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has enjoyed a great opening weekend of $ 6.15 million (INR 41crores) in the international markets.

The film has received the second highest international opening weekend of 2016 after Sultan.  It has also become the highest opening weekend grosser for Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar.
