Sultan Beats PK; Becomes Anushka’s Highest Opener

Anushka Sharma is one of the rare actresses who have starred with all three Khans – Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman. While her film with Salman, Sultan released this week and even took a big opening, here we take a look the opening day collections of her big films till now.

Interstingly, Anushka’s latest release Sultan has now beaten her highest opening day grosser till now which was PK. It collected 36.54 crores with a partial holiday. PK on the other hand had taken an opening of 26.63 crores on a normal Friday.

Also, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan had made a collection of 15 crores over Diwali as it clashed with Son Of Sardaar, with both films taking a good opening.
