Aashiqui 2: 1st Week Box Office Collections

Vishesh Films’ Aashiqui 2 at the end of first week collected a Domestic total of approx 38.5 crores. Despite facing bitter competition from the Hollywood superhero film Iron Man 3, the film’s performance is brilliant. With its fascinating figures all week, this hilt was expected from Aashiqui 2.

Though the surprise element still stands! A film with such a cliched plot and fresher faces, still managed to score. Perhaps romance is still a powerful genre that has the audiences coming its way willingly. In metropolitan cities, the film’s earning slowed due to Robert Downey Jr’s invasion at the multiplexes, a large part of India that still survives on single screens pulled the film through strongly.
