Aashiqui 2 continued to soar through Tuesday as well. The film collected an approximate of 3 crores at the domestic box-office and saw a minor 10% drop in its income since Monday. The film’s collections have now zeroed on 27.25 crore. Till Friday, with two multi starrer, big budget films – Shootout At Wadala and Bombay Talkies gearing up for release, the film can be expected to move stably slowing down its pace only after that.
Aashiqui 2 has to its good luck a mid-week holiday (May Day) which will help in stimulating the film’s overall business. The Wednesday collections will be a better fare compared to the rest of the weekdays and it will be instrumental in substantially contributing to its overall business. Though Iron Man 3 will try its best to hinder the film’s growth by grabbing a huge share of the multiplex audiences, Aashiqui 2 has so far bravely tackled the superhero flick and will safely continue to do so!
