Being written off by critcs 3G could not even turn out to be a commercial asset. The movie opened to a very poor occupancy and failed to show any growth across the day. As per early estimates the movie made about 0.75 Crores on its Day 1 at the domestic box office.

The best circuits for 3G were CP & CI with Delhi, UP and East Punjab failing to strike the chord for the horror flick. It doesn’t seem likely that the movie will show any major growth on Saturday or Sunday especially coz it is competing with 2 better performing new releases, i.e.  Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Jolly LLB.
