The first quarter of 2016 is all set to end and hence, here’s a highlight stating how January to March period of 2016 has so far performed compared to 2015’s first quarter. Take a look:
1) 2016 took a better start than 2015. It already has one film in the 100 crore club i.e. Akshay Kumar’s Airlift. While, 2015’s highest grosser in the first quarter was Baby which managed to rake in 95.50 crores.
2) Taking 1st Quarter into consideration, the earnings of 2016 Top 10 Highest Grossers (Rs. 495.78 crores) are more than 2015’s First Quarter (Rs. 370.23 crores).
