Sushant Singh Rajput starrer, M. S. Dhoni – The Untold Story released recently and in just 10 days, it has managed to pull off a great business. The film is a biopic on the life of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Considering the Cricket craze in India, the film was lapped up by the audiences with much love and also after receiving positive reviews from the critics, it managed to make it to the 100 crore club.
Earlier this year, Sonam Kapoor starrer biopic – Neerja turned out to be a great success at the box office. The film was widely appreciated for its performance and direction.
Though, other biopics such as Azhar and Raman Raghav 2.0 could not gather much business.
With the Dhoni biopic grossing 109.30 crores, it has now become the highest grossing biopic in the past three years.
