It is now pretty much a given that Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 would be a one week show. The film had anyways crashed on Monday and Tuesday was always going to be a consolation day for the film to collect, courtesy Republic Day holiday. However, with audience pretty much marching towards Airlift, there weren’t any mega numbers for Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 as it brought in just 3.75 crore.

With this, the film has now collected 26.65 crore at the Box Office. The numbers are now in a low zone and though one may say that the clash has impacted it badly, the fact remains that it couldn’t have done much even as a solo release, courtesy the kind of content it had to offer.

Adult comedies have done well in the past and they would do well in future too. However, that would happen as long as either titillation or humor or both are in equal measures. The trouble with Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 is that it doesn’t score in either of the two departments, especially humor, and this is what had led to the movie’s downfall.

The film could take solace from the fact that it still stands a chance to have the second highest Week One in 2016 so far, since the first week of Wazir had brought in 30.05 crore.
