There had been buzz that Hrithik Roshan was being considered to play the second lead in Zoya Akhtar’s next which required two big heroes as the leads. According to reports, Ranveer Singh is already on board for the film.
The film which revolves around the story of two rappers from Mumbai had earlier interested Hrithik. Although, we hear, the actor later refused to work in the film since he did not seem keen to work on a dual hero film.

Post Hrithik’s refusal, grapevine has it that she is in talks with Fawad Khan who was last seen in Kapoor And Sons. It seems the Dil Dhadakne Do director was impressed with his work and hence offered him her film.

Fawad will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil too.
An official announcement on this Zoya Akhtar project is still awaited.
