Ashutosh Gowarikar is known to make films which have lengthy run time. Well, don’t worry, his next, Mohenjo Daro will be his shortest film.
The Hrithik Roshan starrer is a period drama that is currently in its pre-production stage. While Gowarikar’s films have an average run-time of 3 hours, his next will be merely 2 hours 30 minutes long.

Previously, his film Lagaan was 3 hours 54 minutes long, Swades was 3 hours 30 minutes long and Jodha Akbar was almost 3 hours 34 minutes long. Looks like, the director has finally realised that a shorter film will certainly help in increasing footfalls.
Mohenjo Daro marks the debut of Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film is all set to release on 12th August alongside Akshay Kumar’s Rustom.
