Yami, already selling a beauty cream and a cellphone range through endorsements, when offered the deal, demanded an exorbitant sum of Rs. 1.5 crore. Now Yami Darling, even though you have tasted success, that too recently, that doesn’t mean you’ll charge equal prices offered to tinsel town’s top heroines like Kareena or Katrina! The babe has a long way to go in order to become the Endorsement Queen and then can surely demand such extravagant prices.

The Jewellery brand quickly passed on the deal to Barfi starrer, Illeana D’Cruz, who is already popular in South and has a huge,continuously expanding fanbase. They also praised Illeana’s freshface appeal and signed her for just 50 lakhs, saving themselves a crore, additionally stating that she is also becoming a hot property of the tinsel town, and is being flooded with deals and offers.

The piece of news was confirmed by Illeana on being signed by a diamond Jewellery brand, while Yami chose not to comment on the matter.
