No one needs any 2nd guesses here, Mr. A. R Rahman is definitely a man blessed with music. On this World Music Day i.e. 21st June we would like to give him a tribute for all that he has done for us and for the mankind, music being a gift to be shared by one and all.
Vande Mataram, the original track written by Rabindra Nath Tagore was given a new buzz and life when Rahman rewrote it and gave it a beat that hit the hearts of the youth.
Performance given at Dhaka by Rahman took the breath away leaving the audiences in a trance by singing along and going with the flow he created.
Slumdog Millionaire’s music fulfilled the dream of every Indian who wanted to walk on the red carpet and take away the golden statuette. Thanks to Rahman.
We were just mesmerized, watching Rahman perform live.
