Karan Johar has more often than not been called the God-father of most industry kids and the tag flared when Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar the flag bearer of nepotism in the industry. Ever since then, the debate around nepotism in the industry has just refused to die down. But now, in a fresh wave of proving all naysayers wrong, the industry rumour mill has it going that Karan Johar has now decided to mentor more and more non-filmy kids.
If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, it is being reported that KJo is on a lookout for fresh faces and talent who have no or minimal B-Town connections. A certain report in Bollywood Bubble has been quoted saying, “Karan has decided to mentor many non-filmy kids. He is on the lookout for many fresh faces with absolutely no film background. He will not just be giving them a break but will also be mentoring them. He is guiding Tara Sutaria who was launched with ‘Student Of The Year 2′. Now, he is also guiding Lakshya Lalwani who will be launched with ‘Dostana 2’.”

While Kangana may have had her own opinions about the celebrated filmmaker, Karan Johar certainly is giving us a very different side of the story. Karan has also, on various occasions, said that he would always choose a talented outsider over a non-talented star kid.
