While it’s a common news that Kareena Kapoor Khan’s item number in Dabangg 2 is called ‘Fevicol’, here is the latest on that. She won’t be going solo in the song and would be joined by Salman Khan a.k.a. Chulbul Pandey himself.
“Arbaaz Khan has designed the sequence in such a way that both Salman and Kareena share screen space. You can’t miss the opportunity of having two superstars in your film and not indulge into bringing them together for a song-n-dance routine,” confirms our source.
This means after ‘Zandu Balm’ in Munni Badnaam, it would be ‘Fevicol ka mazboot jod’ that would do the trick for Salman and Kareena.
“Yes, the two would be seen together but not really in a ‘Munni Badnaam’ mode. The song has a ‘desi’ flavour and it would be reaching out to the masses. I had always visualised it as an apt replacement of Munni Badnaam and not an exact replica on the same lines,” says Arbaaz Khan.
On the other hand Kareena is super excited about the song because incidentally this is the first time ever in her career that she would be dancing along with Salman in the true sense.
“In each of her three films with Salman, be it Bodyguard (Teri Meri), Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna (Don’t Say Alvida) and Kyun Ki (the title track), she had love songs with Salman. However a massy dance number was always missing. This is the first time ever that she would be seen in a ‘dhinchaak’ mode with him,” a source adds.
Here is hoping that the Chammak Challo girl makes the wait worth it as she pairs up with ‘Dabangg Chulbul Pandey’ and finally gets a dance hit with him as well. Shooting of the song takes place in the first week of November and a teaser would be on air soon after.
