Wish, our Bollywood producers would learn a lesson or two from their Hollywood counterparts. Paramount Pictures held a screening of its Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol in Bombay on 4th December, a good 12 days before its release in India and Worldwide. Point to be noted is that the media was invited for the screening! Can you imagine any Hindi film producer letting the press persons see his film so many days before release? There are producers who prefer not to show their films to the media before release. While most of them hold press shows a day or two in advance, there are some who conduct press shows on the day of release itself! And to think of it, our Bollywood producers don’t waste time in otherwise aping Hollywood including their films! Then why not learn from the open-mindedness of the producers there?
