John Abraham is not a quintessential Bollywood hero, all thanks to his recent choice of films he’s been part of. The actor, unlike many other, prefers to keep a low profile by not having a PR machinery to speak for him. Hence, when John came at the trailer launch of his film Welcome Back, the media did not miss out on the chance to ask the reason of his 2 years hiatus from the silver screen after his last release Madras Café.
John, who seem to have been bit miffed on hearing the box office failure of Madras Café, counter questioned the journalist asking about the source of the information and then continued saying, “I don’t stress on one film thinking will it work or not, that is for you (media) to decide and not my job. My job is to perform and that’s what I am meant to do. I make films and I enjoy doing films. So for me doing it in one, two or three years does not make any difference. I am not insecure and I know I can wait.”

To the surprise of his fans, John has rendered his voice for one of the songs in the film. Welcome back also stars Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Anil Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Shruti Hassan, Dimple Kapadia and newbie Sakshi Maggo and is slated to hit the screens on September 4, 2015.
