When This Pakistani Actress ALMOST Landed An Akshay Kumar Film

Maya Ali (Maryam Tanveer) is a Pakistani actress, model, and VJ who had played the on-screen character in the Mann Mayal TV series. She had made her debut in Teefa In Trouble opposite Ali Zafar. Now the news that we‘ve got for you is very interesting. She has said that she had gone to India once for an audition, and was roped in to play the role with Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar.

In an interview with Express News Maya said: “Everything was decided but I could not proceed due to some problems”. Maya yet has a dream to work with Ranveer Singh if she ever gets an opportunity. She finds his character as very charismatic. Maya does feel that she is a Bollywood buff. She stated in a further conversation with Express Tribune that, “I have observed pretty much every Karan Johar film so you can visualize what a Bollywood buff I am.”

Maya did not ever feel that she would be working with the media but it was her luck and destiny that got her close.

Maya says that she is glad to be coming up with her new film ‘Pary Hut Love’ with Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui. It is a Pakistani romantic film which has been directed by Asim Raza.

She was last seen in the movie ‘Teefa in Trouble.’

Maya stated: “I am fortunate to have gotten an opportunity to do a role in the two movies. ‘Teefa in trouble’ was an activity parody yet ‘Pary Hut Love’ is an enthusiastic thrill ride.”
