Kareena Kapoor Khan has been one woman who has broken many stereotypes in her nearly 2-decade long career. Right from making self-obsession a very normal emotion, to doing films like Chameli when most commercial film heroines shied away from it and then to finally being one of the most sought after actresses despite being married and then even after having a baby!

And now, in a society and industry where a women’s career is considered as good as finished right from the moment she gets married, Bebo has shut all naysayers like a true lady boss! And now, speaking at the second season of her radio show, What Women Want, the Heroine actress has opened up saying, “I’m extremely dedicated toward my work. Being women, we anyway take everything up a notch higher– be it our passion or emotions. And, that’s what has exactly happened. So many people said, “Shaadi ke baad kuch nahi hoga,” then they said, “ek bachche ke baad kuch nahi hoga,” but I think we women are fighters and we like to go against the rule, break a few ceilings here and there. It feels good to challenge people’s behaviour when they say she won’t be able to do this or that.”

With Takht, I already have a costume drama coming up and I am looking forward to working with Karan (Johar) again, 20 years after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…. A lot has happened in that time. We are both very different now as director and as actor.”

Meanwhile, directed by Raj Mehta, Good Newwz is slated for a December 27th release. The film features Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.
