WHAT! Twinkle Khanna Feels One Can Joke About Death Too

Former actress turned writer, Twinkle Khanna has been appreciated time and again for her witty comebacks and unique take on issues concerning various aspects of life and environment! However, the star wife has her share of critics who feel that Twinkle goes overboard with her irreverent writing style.

And now, Twinkle who has recently started a portal called Tweak that revolves around women empowerment and several issues concerning women has said that there is nothing in life that one cant joke about, even death!

Putting her thoughts in the open during her recent interview to Indian Express, Twinkle has been quoted saying, “There is nothing in life that’s so serious that you can’t crack a joke about, including death. That’s the person I have always been, even when I was much younger. I have gotten into trouble for saying things that are actually true. The situations that we witness in life can be ridiculous. You must be paying 37% tax and I am paying 44% tax. Yet, we are falling into one pothole after another. I can complain about the pothole or choose to crack a joke about it.”

For the unreserved, Twinkle’s maiden venture as a producer, PadMan featuring actor husband Akshay Kumar was very well received not just domestically but also globally. When quizzed about her plan of producing further films, Twinkle said, “I have to find a compelling story. I turned a producer because I found the story of Arunachalam Muruganantham. No one had made a movie about a subject (menstrual hygiene) that is not spoken about.”
