The upcoming film Roar stars Abhinav Shukla, Himarsha V, Aadil Chahal, Aaran Choudhury, Ali Quli, Naura Fatehi, Pranay Dixit, Subrat Dutta and Virendra Singh Ghuman in lead roles. The film grabbed a lot of eyeballs thanks to its unique story-line and interesting trailer.

We hear the reason behind this unusual concept came up from the makers as producer Abis Rizvi and director Kamal Sadanah decided to make a film that is not a ‘typical’ Bollywood movie.

Talking about their urge to bring something new to the fore, producer Abis Rizvi said, “When we started ideating for Roar, we knew it had to be different. Casting for the film was as difficult as shooting for the film itself. We wanted to ensure that each character is independent and had an interesting back story.”

Admitting that working on this film was a difficult task considering that they wanted fresh faces for playing the apt roles, director Kamal said, “We had more than 600 auditions to narrow down our cast, and we didn’t rest until we knew we found the right fit for each role.” This cast then spent 40 action-packed days in the Sundarbans to shoot for the film and is now ready to enthrall the audience.

Roar: Tigers Of The Sundarbans, produced by Abis Rizvi and directed by Kamal Sadanah releases on October 31st.
