What Does Varun Dhawan Have To Do With Hockey Legend Dhyan Chand?

Actor Varun Dhawan is recently in a lot of news after his widely loved Dishoom trailer. Now, as per the latest reports, Varun is all set to play the character of a legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand in his biopic. Four years back, the son of legendary Dhyan Chand sold the movie rights to Pooja and Aarti Shetty.

Filmmaker Karan Johar also came on board to produce this biopic. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor was approached for the film, but he rejected it due to unknown reasons.

Then, Karan Johar took this project to Varun, who loved it and even made his father David Dhawan to hear the script of this biopic.

As per the latest buzz, it is revealed that Rohit Jaisingh has bought the movie rights of Dhyan Chand on behalf of Shetty sisters. Rohit himself wants to direct this film, but KJo and Fox Star doesn’t feel the same because of Rohit’s inexperience in the field of cinema.
