The previous part was helmed by Priyadarshan and was a success at the box office as well it was critically acclaimed. Vidya Balan’s performance as ‘Manjulika’ was hailed as one of her best.
The news coming in is, Akshay Kumar is all set to have a special role in the film. Is it a cameo or extended appearance, only time will tell but as of now, the makers are waiting for a nod from Khiladi Kumar.
Akshay’s character of Dr Aditya Shrivastav could make a comeback in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The talks are still at the initial stage but as per the sources, the story has been penned in a way that demands Akshay Kumar’s presence in the film. Well, it will be interesting to see whether or not he’ll agree to come on board.
Apart from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2‘s rumours, Anees Bazmee has wrapped up the shoot of Pagalpanti which stars an ensemble cast including John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Ileana D’Cruz and more. Anees shot a dance number for the movie in London with choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

“Dance is a very important part of everyone’s lives. When we promote films, songs are one of the first things we bring out for the audiences,” Bazmee said.
“Dance not only gives a flavour to the audiences about the film but also attracts them to watch the film. We were shooting a song in London on a street for ‘Pagalpanti‘ recently when a lady was walking with her baby in a pram, our song was playing and the baby started dancing in the pram. That caught everyone’s attention, I think that was the best dance,” he added
