If a report by Mumbai Mirror is to be believed, the duo is finally ready to take their relation to the next step. “Ranbir has formally met Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and asked for her hand, with some sentimental tears rolling apparently,” the report states.
Wow! If the reports are actually true, it’s going to break a million of hearts but undoubtedly, elate their fans!
Earlier, it was also reported that Ranbir’s momma, Neetu, has been asking both Alia & RK to move in together. “Ranbir, who lives with his parents in Bandra (they are currently in New York for dad Rishi’s treatment), is planning to get an apartment and move in with Alia. We hear a house hunt is in full swing and, ahem, it was mum Neetu’s idea,” a source close to the development had revealed.

However, last month when rumours around Alia buying a Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding were doing the rounds, uncle Mukesh Bhatt had rubbished all news.
The buzz started after some media portals floated unconfirmed reports that Alia has placed an order for a wedding lehenga with ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. This, because the “Raazi” star was spotted outside the designer’s store in Mumbai.
“This is utter rubbish. Who is spreading these rumours?” Mukesh said.
