“We Are All Beautiful” – Kareena Kapoor Tells Indian Women

Kareena Kapoor Khan is amongst India’s most googled and followed celebrities on social media & the internet. Despite being married to royalty, Kareena’s appeal as a bankable leading lady continues. That she is stunning, goes without saying.

Underplaying her looks & beauty, Kareena commented at an event that all Indian women are beautiful, regardless of their age & marital status. While judging a contest for a brand she endorses, she said, “Every Indian woman is unique and beautiful in their own right.”

Unlike most Bollywood leading women, Kareena has been vocal against cosmetic surgery & going under the knife. In the past, she has often reiterated that women shouldn’t be afraid to age, and that cosmetic enhancements distract from a woman’s natural beauty.

Kareena’s stand against cosmetic surgery hasn’t found too many supporters amongst her contemporaries for obvious reasons- lip enhancements, nose jobs & chin tucks are naked truths for most heroines in Bollywood, despite the fact that they are considered ‘unmentionable’.
