WATCH: Sara Ali Khan Thanks Amrita Singh & Saif Ali Khan In Her Speech As She Win’s Best Debut Award At IIFA 2019

Last night, IIFA Awards 2019 was held in Mumbai and a lot of celebrities graced the event. Celebs like Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif and many others were a part of the fun evening. A lot of celebs went home with a smile on their face as they won awards.

One of the celebs who have all the reasons to celebrate is Sara Ali Khan. Sara won the Best Debut Actress award for her performance in the film Kedarnath. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput. Kedarnath released last year in December and everyone was in love with Khan’s performance in it.

In a video that’s going viral from the awards night, Sara Ali Khan looks quite ecstatic winning the Best Debut award. In her speech, Sara thanked her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. The Simmba actress said, “I would like to thank my mother and my father for teaching me everything that I know. I would like to thank Gattu sir for giving me this opportunity. I would like to thank Sushant sir for shooting this film with so much love.”

On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s next. The film is slated to release 2020 Valentine’s week.

She is also a part of David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1 in which she is sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan.
