Anushka Sharma has certainly carved a niche for herself in the industry with her performances in films like Jab Harry Met Sejal, NH-10 and Pari. However, Anushka had been lauded with appreciation for her performance as the feisty Alizeh in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. And guess what, Anushka’s hubby and captain of Indian Cricket Team Virat Kohli too shares the same school of thought.

In his recent interview, Virat has confessed that he too found the movie as one of Anushka’s best films and performance. Speaking to India Today in his interview, Virat has said that Alizeh from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is “hands down” his favourite character from all the film Anushka has done.

The captain has been quoted saying, “That character for me is my most favourite ever. I mean I still tell her often even now. Sometimes I sit down and open YouTube and watch that sequence of when she has cancer and the whole thing where Ranbir (Kapoor) comes back…. that song is etched in my heart. It is never gonna be going anywhere.”

Virat and Anushka have been making fans fall in love with them as they recently flooded their Instagram handles with pictures of their Bhutan trip where the duo celebrated their Virat’s birthday. Wishing her hubby, Anushka had shared a heartwarming post that read, “This one is my blessing. My friend, My confidante, My one true love . I hope you find the light guiding your path always and may you choose to do the right thing every time . Your compassion is what makes you a good leader and i pray that you always have that in abundance. Happy Birthday my love.”

On the professional front, Anushka was last seen in Anand L Rai’s ZERO alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, the film failed to impress audiences and did not rake enough moolah at the box office either.
