Deepika Padukone stole hearts with her portrayal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The actress after much-anticipation will finally be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak and has been all emotional while promoting the movie. But is the situation similar with co-star Vikrant Massey?
Today, the entire team of Chhapaak including Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey, Meghna Gulzar along with husband Govind Sandhu, were present at the trailer launch of the movie. While Deepika was teary eyed right from the moment she graced the stage, Koimoi.com asked Vikrant if he ever broke down on the sets.

To this, Vikrant Massey who’s playing Deepika’s boyfriend in Chhapaak replied, “Main thoda moti chamdi insaan hu, to be honest. I was a little grumpy all the time, like I said mai thoda moti chamdi hu. A lot of things were inspired from Alok Dixit for this character, and there are a lot of things that keeps him occupied emotionally, mentally, physically. As Vikrant, I generally don’t tend to break down so easily, but yes I did take back a lot of things home. I did retain a lot of things, which are with me and will always be with me”

To this, Deepika Padukone added, “I have to add that we three of us (DP, Meghna and Vikrant) had most fun when we were shooting our scenes together. It was the MOST fun.”
Meanwhile, Chhapaak is based on a real life story, inspired from the life of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor.

The trailer revealed this afternoon to a great response with fans hailing Deepika Padukone’s look as well as her portrayal.
Chhapaak is slated for a January 10th, 2020 release.
