Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi Biopic Is All Set To Go On Floors, Here’s All That You Need To Know

Vidya Balan is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Mission Mangal. The Independence Day release has built enough hype for itself and the next 7 days are going to make it better only. But there’s one more good news for her fans.

Vidya recently announced that she will be playing the role of human computer and mathematician Shakuntala Devi in her upcoming biopic. Now we hear that the film is all set to go on floors by early September.

According to Pinkvilla reports, the first schedule of the film will happen in London in the first week of September.

A source has been quoted as saying, “Vidya is known to do some rigorous prep for any role she takes up. She had been busy for the last few months and couldn’t completely concentrate on the biopic. Right after she releases Mission Mangal, she has plans to dive into the prep for Shakuntala Devi biopic. She has informed her team to not disturb her for the next 15 days, post Independence Day. Only a few days have been alloted for a few brand commitments.”

The source further adds that Vidya will be shooting for the film continuously till December, “They begin shoot in the first week of September in London. The whole film is divided into few schedules – some in London and the others will be shot in Mumbai itself. Vidya will be shooting continuously till December and will begin another film only post that.”
