Vicky Kaushal’s brother Sunny Kaushal, who made his presence felt in Akshay Kumar’s Gold, was supposed to make his solo debut with Sneha Taurani’s Bhangra Paa Le. Ramesh Taurani’s daughter Sneha, too, was making her debut without this film. Rukshar Dhillon stars as the leading lady in the film.
The movie was supposed to release on November 1st but then the makers postponed the date to 15th November. But, now the news is, it’s not coming on either of the days and will not see a theatrical release. It will release a day before it was supposed to release in theatres i.e. 14th November.

A source close to Bollywood Hungama reports, “Usually, one believes that if a film is directly releasing on OTT, then it might be an awful film. But that’s not the case with Bhangra Paa Le. It has shaped up well and the makers are happy with the product. However, they realize that releasing it in cinemas and spending on print and other costs will add to the budget. The buzz isn’t that strong and there are too many releases this month, which can affect its prospects. Also, the performance of The Sky Is Pink was disheartening despite the presence of an actor like Priyanka Chopra. As a result, when they got a good deal from Netflix, they went ahead with it.”

Packed with elements of romance and showcasing transitions between the past and present time period, Bhangra Paa Le paves a bridge between the traditional forms of Bhangra from Punjab and its juxtaposition with western dance forms from all across the world.
Presented by RSVP movies, Bhangra Paa Le is Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Sneha Taurani. The film stars Sunny Kaushal and Rukshar Dhillon and will now release on Netflix on 14th November.
