Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor has been hospitalized due to chest infection at a suburban hospital. The 76 year-old actor complained of cough and breathlessness after which he was immediately rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Sunday.
The yesteryear star was admitted in the ICU last night. Although it has now been informed that the actor is stable now and is recuperating. After being diagnosed with chest infection, the actor was put on antibiotics and was later declared stable.

The legendary actor has been conferred with a National award thrice and has had successful run at the movies in his career.
