Join UsAfter a roller coaster of 2018 in which we’ve got some amazing films, this week there’s a mini clash happening between the Kapoors. Harshvardhan Kapoor’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero & Sonam Kapoor/Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Veere Di Wedding are clashing at the box office.
Veere Di Wedding is a coming-of-age story revolving around the lives of four friends who deal with the trials and tribulations regarding family acceptance, marriage and societal perceptions in the modern-day world. The girls openly talk about their sex lives and hurl abuses.
Veere Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi. It stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas..
Whereas Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is an action film about a young man who wants to continue doing the right and challenge the wrong. During this journey, he discovers that he is destined to do bigger things, which will transform him from a common man into a superhero.
Harshvardhan Kapoor, the lead of Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, was recently about this clash and he said, “It is not a clash for the very simple reason that if we look at the canvas, both films are not similarly big. It is not that my Bhavesh Joshi needs 4,000 screens like it is usually needed for a Salman Khan-starrer film.”

“My film is small, with a certain target audience. The film will grow at the box office based on word of mouth. Sonam’s film is an entertaining comedy, a slice-of-life story of four girls played by stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam herself and other actresses,” he added.
“The genres are different only, so we can co-exist and we can survive,” said the 27-year-old actor.
