All About Varun Dhawan’s Virtual Birthday Treat Organised By His Friends Amid The Lockdown

With COVID-19 spreading its reach farther, social distancing is the only key to stay safe. By this, it seems like Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan who had quite a few plans for his birthday this year, will have to spend it home. But the surprise is that his friends are planning for a virtual birthday party and below is all you need to know. Well, we doubt if it’s a surprise anymore, but okay.

Varun Dhawan’s birthday is on April 24 and if reports are to go by, he was supposed to release a new song from his film Coolie No. 1 on this day. There were also a few who said that the day would also mark him announcing his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal. But all the plans are on hold now as the lockdown is imposed.

Now the recent update is that Varun’s friends including Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and others have decided to connect to him virtually to celebrate his birthday.

A source close to the news, in a report by Bollywood Hungama said, “Luckily for him, Varun is with his parents, brother, sister-in-law and little niece. So they can have a family get-together for his birthday. Varun’s friends would just have to be with him virtually.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun’s next film Coolie No. 1 was set to release on May 1, which stands postponed at the moment. The remake of the old hit starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor, will star Sara Ali Khan opposite Varun and is directed by David Dhawan himself.
