Bollywood is getting back to work after a halt of over four months now. And with this, the season of new announcements has also begun. Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are collaborating for Good Newwz director Raj Mehta’s next. The four will be playing some fun dynamics, and below is all you need to know.

The yet-untitled film to be helmed by Raj Mehta will star Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor as Varun Dhawan’s parents. Kiara Advani will play the female lead.

Talking about the same, a source close to the Development in a Mumbai Mirror report said, “It’s a script that Raj and his writing partner Rishabh Sharma have been working on for a while now. The untitled film is a romantic dramedy and should go on the floors around October-end or early-November.”

While talking about the film, the source also mentioned how the story of the Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor starrer is set in North India. But he made it clear that it isn’t a sequel to Mehta’s Good Newwz.

For Kiara, this is a reunion of sorts. She worked with Varun Dhawan in the 2019 film Kalank and was also a part of Raj Mehta’s Good Newwz. The latter film starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh alongside Kiara.

For the unversed, Varun and Kiara were all set to collaborate for Shashank Khaitan’s Mr. Lele as well. But the film was shelved reportedly due to creative differences.
