The veteran thespian, Dilip Kumar, also called the ultimate Tragedy King of Indian Cinema, was rushed to Lilavati hospital on Sunday, after he complained of feeling uneasy due to cardiac discomfort.
Dilip Saab, who has quite often been in news due to ill-health, was taken to the hospital at around 8.30 p.m yesterday. His spokesperson confirmed the piece of news but refused to give away further details.
Dilip Saab was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but is said to be stable now. Also routine check-up was done last night and more details about his health are to come in by today.
The 90 year old, yesteryear superstar was recently seen on the 100 years of Cinema celebratory issue of Filmfare Magazine, along with Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. He holds a Padma Bhushan (1991) and was also awarded a Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his striking contribution to the Indian cinema.
