India is celebrated for its spirit of festivity. She always finds a strange and priced unity in her vast diversity. Kun Faaya Kun – Rockstar 2011

This is another Ranbir Kapoor movie, Rockstar, with a beautiful song on the Islamic faith. Kun Faaya Kun also has music by A. R. Rahman, our very own Oscar winner.  Rahman , Javed Ali, Mohit Chauhan and chorus have lent their voices to this amazing number.

Noor-E-Khuda Song – My Name Is Khan 2010

Noor–E–Khuda is one of those songs that make you sit back and wonder if this world needed your help to be a better place, maybe you should try and seek God’s angel right within you and do whatever you can to make this a better place for entire humanity. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol this Karan Johar film was ridden with controversy right from day 1 with the involvement of certain Mumbai based regional political groups working against the movie release. However, My Name Is Khan turned out to be a global hit with more than 20 languages seeing their own dubbed versions of this well – loved movie. It had music by the trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy and this song has vocals by Shanker Mahadevan, Adnan Sami, and Shreya Ghoshal.

Khwaja Mere Khwaja Song – Jodha Akbar 2008

Here’s a master piece of a song with the A. R. Rahman behind its music from the movie Jodhaa Akhbar. Khwaja Mere Khwaja had the subtle and pristine use of languages, thanks to lyricist, Qashif. Rahman Saab even sang the song along with chorus vocals. The movie starred Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many more and was directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar.

Yoon Shabnami Song – Sawaariya 2007

Yoon Shabnami is a beautiful Eid track with the debutants Sonam Kapoor and Ranvir Kapoor.  Being a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, this Diwali release, Sawaariya, did fairly well, that is of course keeping in mind that it released on the same day with Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Kiran Kher , Shreyas Talpade and many more.  Yun Shabnami has its vocals by Parthiv Gohil and the movie had music by Monty Sharma. The song connects the festival with budding young love.

Allah Ke Bande Song – Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part 2 2003

Kailash Kher’s success can easily be attributed to the heart rendering number Allah Ke Bande from the not so popular movie, Waisa Bhi Hota Hai II. The movie was directed by Shashankha Ghosh and starred Arshad Warsi.  The song clearly tells a music lover how much Kailash is inspired by Qawali and Ustad Nausrat Fateh Ali khan.  The film involved seven music composers like the duo Vishal and Shekhar, Shibani Kashyap , Saibal Basu and Abhinav Dhar.

Mubarak Eid Mubarak Song – Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge 2002

Starring Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen and Dia Mirza, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge was directed by Pankaj Parashar. This exclusive Eid track bears music by Sajid and Wajid, the musician duo and boasts of vocals by Sonu Nigam, Arvider Singh and Sneha Pant.
