Shah Rukh Khan is known in the industry for his humble and polite behavior with his fans and friends. However this wasn’t quite evident when Shah Rukh slapped Farah Khan’s Husband, Shirish Kunder at a party. The actor, who was attending Sanjay Dutt’s Agneepath success party, got irritated by Shirish, who was drunk and kept following him everywhere. The actor allegedly got angry and slapped him in public. The blame game went on for a few days, but later the differences were sorted out by Farah Khan who stepped in to the rescue.

Shah Rukh was on a roll of controversies in 2012. After the Shirish Kunder episode, Shah Rukh was then caught misbehaving with one of the officials of the Wankhede stadium. SRK reportedly used some cuss words, which made the MCA angry and in turn they restricted the actor from entering the stadium for five years.
Saif Ali Khan, who was reportedly having a peaceful dinner with his friends at a Japanese restaurant in Taj Hotel, fell into a brawl with one of the NRI’s present at the venue. The NRI, Iqbal Sharma was sitting on another table with his family, when the fray happened and Saif punched Sharma. While coming out of the Hotel, the shutterbugs caught Iqbal with a bleeding nose and Saif with his shirt torn.
Model turned actress Sherlyn Chopra left the whole nation in shock, when she announced the news of posing nude for American magazine Playboy. The Indian festival Holi being one of the themes of the shoot, the model posed nude for the magazine, even though the release date of her cover has not being disclosed, this probably will be India’s official entry into Playboy.
Ajay Devgn Film’s, Son of Sardaar and Yash Raj Film’s, Jab Tak Hai Jaan which were ought to release on the same day on Diwali, made it to the headlines. Ajay Devgn sent a legal notice to Yash Raj Films stating that the makers were pressuring the exhibitors to give eminence to their film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. However, both the films did equally well at the Box Office.
Just after the industry witnessed the shocking demise of legendary actor, Rajesh Khanna, controversies concerning his life started making headlines. The actor’s live-in partner Anita Advani came into picture a few days after the actor’s death, demanding a share in his property. She also disclosed her relation with Rajesh Khanna, which was later proved bogus by his family.
After making his first television debut with Satyamev Jayate, Aamir did manage to gather lot of acclaim. However this did not last long as the actor was held in trouble later. The talk show’s forth episode pointed a finger at the medical professionals of the country stating them as corrupt. This made the IMA (Indian Medical Association) annoyed and they demanded apology from the actor. Aamir, however did not throw any apology and the topic got shut.
Anurag Basu’s Barfi! that managed to make it the Oscars, was alleged to have a lot of scenes copied from other movies like Gene Kelly, Charlie Chaplin and The Notebook. This became the talk of the town with people fighting debates whether Barfi! deserves to be at the Oscars. The movie however did not make it to the finals and was out of the Oscars.
It was a good year for the actress, who delivered her first baby girl with actor Abhishek Bachchan. Even though she did not do any films in the time, the actress managed to enter the list of controversies. With some of her pictures going viral after her delivery, she was trashed by her fans for not losing the post pregnancy weight. However Aishwarya wasn’t seen caring much about these allegations.
Karan Johar who was pretty close of actress Priyanka Chopra, this year faced some differences. Karan was allegedly angry on Priyanka because of her supposed relation with Shah Rukh Khan. One of Priyanka’s friends was reported saying that Karan had made some bitchy comments about the actress, on which Karan retaliated by tweeting, “Using their hired PR machinery and hiding behind so called “friends” to get news into tabloids is nothing but spineless and lame!!!”
The differences were however sorted out later.
