Tiger Shroff & Hrithik Roshan Romancing In A New Movie After War? Former Reacts, “It’s Just Weird That…”

Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan featured together in the 2019 spy action thriller, War. Siddharth Anand directed the YRF film, which received a lot of love and appreciation back then. It was the third film from the Spy universe and was praised for its action sequences, music and Hrithik’s charm that captivated everyone.

In the film, Tiger Shroff plays Khalid, a RAW agent who is a big admirer of Major Kabir Dhaliwal (Hrithik Roshan). During Kabir’s entry scene, Tiger’s Khalid couldn’t take his eyes off him. The way Tiger looked at Hrithik in that scene and several others, many thought he had a crush on the Fighter actor’s character. There were even memes and jokes about War being a story of Khalid’s unrequited crush on Kabir.

Recently, on No Filter Neha, Tiger was asked if he would ever play Hrithik Roshan’s love interest. To this, the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan star answered, “It’s weird that a lot of the feedback I have gotten is like ‘Tiger, you have the best chemistry with…’ and I’m thinking who it is – Shraddha or Kriti and they say it’s Hrithik Roshan. About the particular scene from War, Tiger added, “The subtext for me was that he is my hero, and I’m supposed to look at him with awe. Like I want to join your team. I want to be under your wing, that’s it.”

The actor added how that scene had taken a different perception. But Tiger smiled and said that he would take that as a compliment.

Meanwhile, Tiger’s next is Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, and Sonakshi Sinha. The film is slated to release in theatres on April 9, 2024. On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan will reprise his role as Kabir in War 2. Ayan Mukerji will helm the YRF film, which also stars RRR actor Jr NTR. The sequel of Hrithik’s film is the 6th film of the YRF’s Spy universe. Kabir also made an appearance in the post-credits scene of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3. Thus, teasing us with the next big threat he’s going to fight in the sequel.
