Tiger Shroff Calls Akshay Kumar Our "Tom Cruise"

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have teamed up for the action film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. A few weeks ago, the teaser for the film was released, and everyone is excited to see what punches the duo pack on the big screen. Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar has helmed the action film. Along with the songs and promos, Tiger and Akshay’s camaraderie has also created a lot of buzz. It seems like the duo had a lot of fun shooting the film.

Tiger Shroff often praises his co-star in his interviews. After Hrithik Roshan, the Ganpath actor can’t stop saying good things about his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Akshay Kumar. Shroff even called Akshay India’s Tom Cruise. At the India Today Conclave 2024, Tiger shared his experience working with Akshay and how much he learned as an artist.

Tiger Shroff said, “The most special thing was to work with the original action hero, our very own Tom Cruise, Mr Akshay Kumar. I have grown up idolising him, and now, actually sharing the screen with him, I am very grateful. I have learnt a lot from him, and there’s a lot to learn from him. I got to see him up close and personal, got to spend a lot of time with him on and off the screen.”

The Bade Miyan Chote Miyan actor added that he used to think he woke up early at six or 6:30. But Akshay Kumar wakes up at 4:30 am. Tiger used to get wake-up calls from Akshay, and they did their exercises together before they started their shoot for the day.

Meanwhile, BMCM also stars Prithviraj S, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Himanshu Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar, the action film is slated to release in theatres on April 10, 2024. Tiger is also part of Singham 3, which stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Akshay. Shroff will play ACP Satya in Rohit Shetty’s cop action thriller.
