Who can forget the romantic scene between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi in Gangs Of Wasseypur? In the scene, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character Faizal tries to get intimate with Mohsina played by Huma Qureshi. And that’s where she talks about consent and delivers one of the most loved dialogue, “Permission leni chahiye na?”
Netflix which has recently bought the rights of both Gangs Of Wasseypur films has found a striking connection between the above-mentioned scene and the one in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s latest release Raat Akeli Hai.
In Raat Akeli Hai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character Inspector Jatil Yadav before entering Radha played by Radhika Apte’s room asks her, “Aapki permission ho to bheetar aa sakte hain?”

Netflix India recently posted a fun creative on Instagram in which they brought out this interesting connection between two different worlds. “Faizal learnt about personal space. Faizal didn’t repeat his mistake. Be like Faizal. #RaatAkeliHai” the caption read as saying.
Isn’t that hilarious? Full marks to the team handling Netflix India’s Instagram account!
Meanwhile talking about her role in Raat Akeli Hai, Radhika Apte recently said that peeling the layers of her character in Raat Akeli Hai was an inspiring challenge.
“The crime thriller explores the lives of various family members while the murder of its patriarch is being investigated. I play the character of Radha, the new bride of the deceased, who is stubborn, feisty, arrogant and yet mysterious,” Radhika said, adding: “She alternates between suspicion and being vulnerable. To peel the layers of her character has been an inspiring challenge for me. Honey Trehan’s vision is truly unparalleled and I can’t wait for audiences around the world to watch it.”
