Hotly-tipped Oscar contenders, The King’s Speech and Black Swan, look set to dominate the 2011 British Academy Film Awards after earning 15 nominations apiece in the event’s long list. Both films will compete in the Best Film and Best Director categories, while Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) and Natalie Portman (Black Swan) are hot favourites to land the Best Actor and Best Actress awards.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s mind-bending thriller, Inception, and British drama, Made In Dagenham, followed with 14 entries each, while The Social Network garnered 13. The contenders will be narrowed down to five per category by January 18. The BAFTAs will take place in London on February 13.
